MALCOLM X’S AUTOBIOGRAPHY : A DURATIONAL READING AT THE MET

On October 29, 2023 a group of 70+ actors, singers, writers, artists, scholars, students, civil servants, and community leaders read the entirety of Alex Haley’s ‘The Autobiography of Malcolm X: As Told to Alex Haley’ from the Grand Tier of The Metropolitan Opera House in NYC. The reading was free, open to the public, and lasted 18 hours and 8 minutes. It was one of the most moving projects I have had the pleasure to work on.
